2. Data collected

Through this website SAVIA collects only the data the data subject chooses to provide when contacting us. On submitting the assessment request form, the data is recorded in SAVIA's customer relationship system and the data subject's own WhatsApp or email client then opens with the message drafted, so that it is the data subject who decides whether to send it.

  • First name and surname
  • Company and role
  • Corporate email address
  • Telephone or WhatsApp number
  • Any information about the food operation described in the message

3. Purposes of processing

Data is processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Responding to a request for information, quotation or assessment.
  • Preparing and sending commercial proposals.
  • Coordinating assessment visits, tastings and pre-contract audits.
  • Managing the contractual relationship, if one is entered into.
  • Handling requests, complaints and claims.
  • Sending communications about SAVIA's services, only where the data subject has given express and separate authorisation.

4. Data subject rights

Under article 8 of Ley 1581 de 2012, the data subject has the right to:

  • Access, update and rectify their personal data.
  • Request evidence of the authorisation granted, except where the law does not require it.
  • Be informed, upon request, of the use made of their data.
  • File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio for breaches of the law.
  • Revoke the authorisation and request deletion where no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
  • Access their processed personal data free of charge.

5. Procedure to exercise these rights

Queries and claims are submitted to comercial@savialiving.com, stating the data subject's name, a description of the facts and contact details for the response.

Queries are answered within a maximum of ten business days from receipt. Where that is not possible, the data subject is informed before expiry, with the reasons and the date of response, which will not exceed the following five business days.

Claims are answered within a maximum of fifteen business days from the day after receipt. Where that is not possible, the data subject is informed of the reasons for the delay and the response date, which will not exceed the eight business days following expiry of the first term.

6. Security and retention

SAVIA adopts reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Data is retained while the purpose that justified its collection subsists, or while a legal or contractual duty to retain it exists.

This website uses no advertising, profiling or third-party cookies. The only external tool it loads is a cookieless analytics script that does not identify people. See the cookie policy.

7. Data processors and international transfer

To operate, SAVIA relies on technology providers that process data on its behalf, under its instructions and without being able to use it for their own purposes. As at this version, the only processor with access to the data subject's personal data is HubSpot, Inc., provider of the customer relationship system (CRM) in which the request is recorded, with servers located in the United States.

By authorising the processing, the data subject also authorises that international transfer, limited to the purposes in clause 3 and for the period stated in clause 6. If SAVIA engages another processor with access to personal data, this page is updated with the date visible before it is activated.

8. Data of minors

SAVIA does not knowingly collect personal data of minors through this site. The site is addressed to business counterparts.

9. Term and amendments

This policy applies from the date stated at the head of the document. Any substantial amendment will be communicated by publication on this same page, with the update date visible.
